Castle of Guārdia
The town of Guārdia de Noguera is located next to the Castle of Guārdia, a fortress strategically placed to the right of the Noguera Pallares. We find documents on it from the XI century.
During its long history, the Castle of Guardia belonged to different noble people: since the count Ramon III Del Pallars gave it up, in the year 958, it has belonged, between others, to Mirķ and Gerau, the count Ramon V, Arnau Mir De Tost and his daughter Valenįa.
